Super Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. crystallized pineapple
    1 lb. crystallized cherries (red and green)
    1 3/4 c. plain flour (all-purpose)
    4 c. pecans (whole or chopped)
    2 sticks butter (may use 1 stick margarine)
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 Tbsp. black walnut flavoring
Preparation
    Mix flour with fruit and nuts.
    Cream butter and sugar real good.
    Add eggs (one at a time) and beat well after each one.
    Add fruit mixture to batter and fold all together; add flavoring. Grease a 10-inch tube pan and line with brown paper (grease paper).
    Add cake batter.
    Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 275\u00b0. Check to be sure it is done after this time.
    It may need to bake a while longer.
    This is a delicious cake.
