1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Melt 1/2 cup white sugar in heavy skillet.
When melted, pour into custard cups or pie pan.
Beat eggs, milk, vanilla, and 1/3 cup sugar until mixed -- about two minutes. Pour into custard cups or pie pan.
Place into larger pan of water and bake at 350\u00b0 until set, or about 45 minutes.
