Peas A La Yummy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans peas (Maxine uses 2), drained
    1 can water chestnuts, quartered
    1 small jar pimento
    1/3 c. butter
    1/3 c. chopped celery
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Saute in butter the celery, onion and pepper.
    Stir together soup and milk.
    Mix all together; pour into greased casserole. Cover with crushed cheese crackers (Maxine uses plain crackers). Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly.
