Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine egg, water and vinegar or lemon juice.
    Mix the first 5 ingredients with pastry blender, then add the liquids.
    Makes enough crust for 6 single or 3 double pies.
    Can keep in refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks.
    Put to room temperature before using.
