Cupid'S Cookie Hearts(Heritage Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg

Preparation

In medium mixing bowl, combine flour, spices and baking soda. In large mixing bowl beat butter or margarine on medium speed 30 seconds.
Add brown sugar, beat till fluffy.
Add eggs, beat well. Add flour mixture, beat well.
Apply seal, chill about 2 hours.
