Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. frozen broccoli cuts
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. water
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 c. milk
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. milk with 5 Tbsp. flour for thickening
Preparation
    Cook, then drain broccoli cuts; set aside.
    Brown onion in butter until tender.
    Add water and bouillon cubes.
    Cook until cubes dissolve.
    Add garlic, salt and pepper, milk and Velveeta cubes.
    Cook over low heat until cheese melts.
    Add broccoli and simmer.
    To thicken, mix 1/2 cup milk with 5 tablespoons flour and add to soup.
