Hawaiian Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium sweet potatoes, cubed (may use canned)
    pinch of salt
    1 stick butter
    1 to 2 cans crushed pineapple, drained
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Boil potatoes and set aside to cool. Mix cornstarch, sugar, salt and water and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes. Add butter and pineapple to syrup mixture and pour over cooked sweet potatoes. Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
