Milk Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3 sq. (3 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Prepare, bake and cool a 9-inch crust.
    In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and dash of salt.
    Stir in milk.
    Cook and stir this mixture until bubbly.
    Reduce heat; cook and stir 2 minutes more.
    Add chocolate.
    Stir 1 cup of hot mixture into yolks; return to pan.
    Return to gentle boil.
    Cook and stir 2 minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Turn into pastry shell.
    Prepare meringue for pie.
    Spread on top of pie.
    Seal meringue to edges. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Brown the top and cool. Chill.
