Spice Ornaments - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. applesauce
3/4 c. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. ground cloves
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. allspice

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Roll out or pat out with hands on wax paper.
Cover with cinnamon.
Cut into shapes and place on cookie sheet.
Cut hole in top of shape with drinking straw.
Bake at 200\u00b0 for approximately 2 or 3 hours, until dry and hard.
May want to put ornaments on cookie rack to let bottom dry.
