Quick Peanut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    4 c. Rice Krispies cereal
    1 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Grease large baking sheet. In 3-quart saucepan, mix corn syrup and sugar, stirring constantly. Bring to boil over medium heat. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add cereal and peanuts. Quickly stir until well coated. Spoon onto baking sheet. With greased hands, pat evenly to 1/2-inch thickness. Cool. Break into pieces.
    Store between sheets of waxed paper in covered container.
    Makes 1 1/4 pounds.
