Chunky Beef Noodle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef boneless round steak, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
    1 large chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. snipped parsley
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1 can whole tomatoes (undrained)
    1 can condensed beef broth
    1 c. uncooked noodles
    1 medium green pepper, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Cook and stir beef, onion and garlic in oil until beef is done.
    Stir in water, chili powder, salt, oregano, tomatoes and broth.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer until beef is tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Skim excess fat from soup.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
    Stir in noodles and green pepper.
    Simmer, uncovered, until noodles are tender.
    Stir in parsley.
