Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. Bran Flakes cereal (Kellogg's)
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg
Preparation

Stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; set aside.
Measure Flakes cereal and milk into large mixing bowl; stir to combine.
Let stand 1 to 2 minutes, or until cereal is softened.
Add egg and oil; beat well.
Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined.
Portion batter evenly into 12 greased 2 1/2-inch muffin pan cups.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes, or until done.
