Beef N Biscuit Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 egg
    1 can buttermilk biscuits
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Brown beef, onions and pepper.
    Add tomato sauce and seasonings; simmer.
    Separate the 10 biscuits into 20 pieces.
    Press 10 into bottom of an 8-inch square pan.
    Combine sour cream, egg and 1/2 of cheese.
    Stir into meat mixture and spoon onto dough.
    Arrange remaining biscuits on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
