Crab Bake Imperial - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 Tbsp. minced parsley
1 Tbsp. chopped chives or green onion tops
1 c. milk
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 (3 to 4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
2 (7 1/2 oz.) crab meat or 1 lb. fresh white crab meat
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan.
Blend in flour, salt, pepper, parsley and chives.
Slowly stir in milk and cook until sauce thickens.
Add lemon peel and juice.
Fold in mushrooms and crab meat.
Spoon into individual scallop shells or casserole dish. Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
