Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lean stew meat
    1 can diced carrots or 2 or 3 fresh carrots
    1 can whole tomatoes
    1 can tiny peas or 1 c. frozen peas
    1 can green beans (not French cut) or 1 c. frozen, fresh beans
    1/2 can beef consomme
    4 Tbsp. tapioca
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 c. prepared bread crumbs
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 c. white wine
    3/4 Tbsp. each salt and pepper
Preparation
    Drain all vegetables except tomatoes.
    Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven pot with cover.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 6 to 7 hours, covered.
