Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage
3 or 4 Tbsp. bacon drippings
salt and pepper
Preparation

Wash cabbage and shred.
Put in heavy skillet in which bacon drippings have been melted and are hot.
Cover and let fry slowly over a medium heat. Stir occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve with buttered cornbread.
