Candy Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
18 oz. peanut butter
1 1/2 lb. chocolate (for coating)
Preparation

Prepare a buttered cookie sheet with sides (jelly roll pan). Place peanut butter into greased large bowl. Cook the sugar, Karo and water to 290\u00b0.
Pour into peanut butter. Stir quickly and pour into prepared pan.
Press flat. Score and cut into pieces.
Melt chocolate over warm water. Drop candy into chocolate and onto wax paper to set.
Wrap in foil or plastic wrap.
