Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    2 c. unsifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Blend in buttermilk.
    Stir in remaining ingredients just until blended.
    Pour into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, greased on bottom only.
    Bake 50 to 55 minutes.
