Daffodil Sunshine Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 beaten egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 egg yolks
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix first half same as angel food cake and place in bottom of tube pan.
    For second half, beat egg yolks and sugar together. Add flour and baking powder alternately with hot water.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour on top of white and bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
