Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. 4x sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1 lb. butter (only)
Preparation

Mix well together until it's like putty.
Make into rolls and refrigerate until firm.
Cut in 1/4-inch slices.
Cook at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 7 to 12 minutes.
