Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. mashed potatoes (can use instant potatoes)
    1 c. sour cream, softened
    1 tsp. dried chives
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine potatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, chives and garlic powder.
    Put in a 2-quart casserole dish. Combine bread crumbs with butter; sprinkle over potato mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Top with cheese.
    Serve immediately.
    Can be made the day ahead and baked the next day.
