Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    6 eggs, separated
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Sift flour in bowl and set aside.
    Separate eggs; place whites in small mixing bowl and beat (use mixer) with 1/4 cup sugar at high speed and set aside.
    Put butter, shortening and 2 3/4 cups sugar in large bowl and beat at medium speed.
    Add egg yolks one at a time.
    Add flour and sour cream alternately.
    Add baking soda, vanilla and lemon extract.
    Add egg whites with mixer on low speed.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 in greased pan (10-inch tube) for 1 1/2 hours.
