Picante Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. peeled, quartered tomatoes
    3 large onions, diced
    2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt to taste
    hot peppers to taste
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients in large pan until tender.
    Blend to desired consistency.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    Add red food coloring, if desired.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
    Makes 3 quarts.
