Chicken Divan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (11 oz.) pkg. frozen rice pilaf or boxed pilaf
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. cut broccoli (frozen) in cheese sauce or cooked broccoli
    2 c. cut up, cooked chicken
    1 (3 oz.) can French fried onions
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1 (10 1/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
    1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Cook rice and broccoli according to package directions. Spread rice in bottom of a 7 x 11-inch baking dish.
    Cover with chicken, then broccoli in cheese sauce.
    Mix together the water chestnuts, soup, mushrooms and mayonnaise; pour over broccoli mixture.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven.
    Cover with onions and bake an additional 10 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
