Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Beat eggs in small bowl until frothy; set aside.
    Combine sugar and water in 2-quart pan.
    Place on moderate heat, stirring, until sugar dissolves.
    Bring to full boil and cook for 3 minutes. Gradually stir hot syrup into eggs.
    Blend butter and vanilla into mixture.
    Arrange pecans in desired pattern.
    Bake for 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
