Beer Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour, sifted
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. cold shortening
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 can beer (can be warm and stale)
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients and in shortening. Add beer and mix well. Drop in a greased muffin pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown. Makes about 1 dozen.
