Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pie crust
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 pkg. strawberry Jell-O (4 oz.)
1 pt. fresh strawberries
6 oz. Cool Whip

Preparation

Bake pie shell.
Mix sugar, water and cornstarch; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
Remove from heat; add Jell-O and strawberries, which have been stemmed, washed and drained.
Pour into pie crust.
When cool, cover with Cool Whip.
