Roquefort Dressing Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    2 c. mayonnaise (homemade)
    1/2 lb. Roquefort cheese (not domestic Blue cheese), crumbled
Preparation
    Mix the buttermilk, lemon juice, seasonings and grated onion in a large bowl and stir until smooth.
    Blend in the mayonnaise and Roquefort cheese.
    Mix thoroughly, leaving a few lumps.
    Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
    Yield: 1 1/2 pints.
