Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 small, finely chopped onion
2 tsp. baking powder
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
3/4 c. milk

Preparation

Mix well, then drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat and cook until brown.
