Peanut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. boiling water
    4 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    chopped peanuts
    powdered sugar icing (powdered sugar, milk and vanilla)
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over the flour and sugar and beat together (it must be boiling water).
    Beat the egg whites with the vanilla and baking powder until stiff.
    Then mix this with the flour mixture.
    Put into a greased and floured pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    When cool, cut into squares and roll in the powdered sugar icing, then roll in peanuts.
