Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 slices bread
    cinnamon and sugar
    butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    4 lightly beaten eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cut crust off bread and toast bread.
    Butter toast; sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
    Close up like sandwiches.
    Cut into finger slices.
    Put into well-buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle raisins and brown sugar on top.
    Beat eggs and add to milk with 2 tablespoons white sugar and vanilla.
    Pour over bread.
    Place casserole in pan with 1/2-inch water.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 approximately 45 minutes.
