Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    4 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cooking sherry
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder or 1/2 medium clove, crushed
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 Tbsp. dried celery
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 to 3 c. water
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in a 6-quart heavy saucepan.
    When almost done, add mushrooms, including juice.
    Add all other ingredients (add water to the consistency you prefer).
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
    Serve over spaghetti or other noodles.
    Freezes well.
