Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. yellow self-rising meal
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. onions, chopped fine
1 c. mustard
1 c. ketchup (optional)
garlic, chopped fine (optional)
3 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
beer (until just drop from spoon)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Cook in deep fat until crisp.
