Southern Style Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. stew beef
5 medium size potatoes
3 medium size onions
3 carrots
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. white pepper
salt to season
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Cut your stew beef into 1 to 2 inch size and toss in the mixture of flour and white pepper.
Cut potatoes and onions into 1 inch size.
Cut carrots up.
Put all of the ingredients into a slow cooker.
Add water and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours. When you get ready to serve, turn the slow cooker up to high.
Mix the cornstarch and water together.
Add a little of the hot broth from the pot to the mixture, then add this mixture to the slow cooker.
Let cook until it thickens.
Serve over rice or egg noodles.
