Lentil Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. chicken stock
1 qt. water
1 lb. dried lentils, washed over and picked
2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
2 medium onions, diced
2 large carrots, diced
Tabasco sauce to taste
2 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and quartered
12 oz. kielbasa, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. olive oil
salt to taste
Preparation

In a large pot, bring the chicken stock and water to boil. Add all the other ingredients at once.
Bring the soup to boil and allow it to continue boiling for 15 minutes.
Then simmer it over low heat for at least 30 minutes.
Serves six to eight.
