Polish Sausage, Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    2 strips bacon, cut in 1 in. pieces
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce (optional)
    pinch of ground thyme
    1 lb. Polish sausage, cut in 1 in. pieces
    6 c. hot cooked Minute rice
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except sausage and rice in a 2 quart saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer.
    Cover and cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Add sausage to beans the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
    Serve 1 cup kidney bean mixture over 1 cup rice.
    Serves 6.
