Saffron Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    1 tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. powdered saffron or saffron threads
    1 small chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. chicken broth or bouillon
Preparation
    Mix saffron with heated chicken broth and let sit. In heavy skillet, heat olive oil and butter on medium heat.
    Add chopped onion and cook until onion is translucent (don't burn).
    Add rice. Stir to coat rice with oil and butter. Add broth.
    Cover pan and simmer for about 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.
