Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar with electric mixer.
    Add slightly beaten eggs.
    Add flour mixture (flour, baking powder and salt sifted together) alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Knead slightly on floured board.
    Roll and cut with cookie cutter (roll very thin for crisp cookies).
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 when cookies are put in oven.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet for 8 minutes.
