Pink Sugar Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 dashes salt
    food coloring
    6 to 8 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Cook the first 5 ingredients to the soft ball stage, stirring occasionally until soft ball forms in water.
    Remove from heat. Add food coloring.
    Pour over 6 to 8 quarts of popped corn.
    Add a little at a time until all is coated.
    Continue to stir until corn separates and sugars.
