Hawaiian Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large c. crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 large can pie cherries
    1 c. chopped pecans
    6 bananas, sliced
    1 (3 oz.) orange Jell-O gelatin
    1 small can coconut
    3 to 4 pie shells
Preparation
    Combine pineapple, sugar and flour.
    Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Dissolve Jell-O in 1/2 cup of boiling water and add to pineapple mixture.
    Let cool.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Put into baked pie shells.
    Refrigerate to set (about 1 hour).
    Serve with Cool Whip.
