Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash
    1 large onion
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1.6 oz. Mozzarella cheese
    8 slices fried bacon
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Slice squash and onion about 1/4-inch thick.
    Layer squash, onion, salt, pepper, half of Cheddar cheese, 4 slices bacon, crumbled, half of Mozzarella cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    In small saucepan, melt margarine and add bread crumbs.
    Add to casserole, bacon drippings and milk, then top with bread crumb mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 or 40 minutes.
