Polly'S Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, finely chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans tomato soup
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) box wide noodles
    1 c. whole mushrooms
    1 c. corn flakes
    3/4 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Saute onions; add meat and cook.
    Add tomato soup, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Add cream cheese at end so chunks of cheese don't totally melt.
    Meanwhile brown mushrooms in butter.
    Grease casserole dish.
    Cook and drain noodles.
    Pour meat mixture into greased casserole dish.
    Spread mushrooms and corn flakes on top. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes; 5 minutes before finished baking, add chopped almonds on top.
