Christmas Nuggets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour and salt.
    Cream thoroughly shortening, butter and confectioners sugar.
    Blend in vanilla and nuts. Gradually add dry ingredients.
    Mix until dough is smooth and well blended.
    Shape into small balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten slightly.
    Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
