Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain White Lily flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 c. black walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder and set aside. Cream butter, Crisco and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition.
    Alternately add flour mixture with one cup of milk.
    Add vanilla and beat mixture until light and fluffy.
    Add walnuts.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
