Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. light or dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
    6 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, without stirring. Remove from heat; add vanilla and then soda. Stir quickly and pour over corn quickly. Place corn in 2 or 3 large baking pans that have been well-greased. (Corn will at first look like it is not well coated, but this will even out during the baking process.) Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring well every 15 minutes. After corn cools, store in tight container.
