Fresh Beef Tongue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. tongue
    1 onion, quartered
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 whole peppers
    2 bay leaves
    6 whole cloves
    4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Scrape tongue and wash well. Scald in boiling water. Place tongue and other ingredients in cooker.
    Boil on medium heat for about 1 1/2 hours.
    Remove skin from tongue while hot. Slice and serve.
