Spicy Shrimp Kabobs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, cut into chunks
    2 cloves garlic, halved
    1 thin slice ginger root
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. coriander
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    1 1/2 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Preparation
    In blender, blend onion, garlic and ginger on high.
    Add lemon juice and oil.
    Blend until smooth.
    Pour into bowl.
    Stir in next 5 ingredients.
    Add shrimp; toss.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    Preheat the broiler or grill.
    Thread the shrimp on 8 skewers.
    Cook 4-inches from the heat source, 4 minutes per side or until cooked through.
