English Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    1 can English peas, drained
    1 small jar pimento
    1 small can mushrooms, drained and chopped
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 slices white bread, torn in thumbnail size pieces
Preparation
    Using
    one
    stick
    butter,
    saute
    celery,
    pepper
    and onions.
    In
    a separate large bowl, mix peas, water chestnuts, pimento, mushrooms and soup.
    Add sauteed vegetables and place in large
    casserole
    dish.
    Top
    with\tbread crumbs which have been dipped in 1/2 stick of melted butter.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until bubbly and crumbs are brown.
