Perfection Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lemon gelatin
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. cold water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar
    1 c. cabbage, finely shredded
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. carrots, shredded
    1 Tbsp. onion, finely minced
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    Add cold water, salt and lemon juice or vinegar.
    Chill.
    When mixture is slightly thickened, fold in cabbage, celery, carrots and onion.
    Pour in mold and chill until firm.
    Unmold on lettuce leaves and top with mayonnaise.
    Serves 6 to 8.
