Banana Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. buttermilk biscuit mix
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
2 to 3 c. vegetable oil
6 bananas, peeled, halved crosswise and then lengthwise
Preparation

In a small mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix, sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and egg yolks.
Beat until smooth.
Fold in egg whites.
Heat all ingredients on High for 8 to 9 minutes.
Dip 4 or 5 banana pieces into batter into hot oil.
Fry until golden brown on both sides.
Remove with spoon.
Drain on rack.
Repeat frying remaining banana pieces.
May be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Makes 24 fritters.
